Situated in Central London, neatly nestled under the first-floor windows of a period mid-terrace property, you will find this contemporary Oak open plan kitchen-dining room extension.
Limited by space, extending across the full rear width of the property has created additional kitchen, dining and living space without encroaching on the garden, a complete lifestyle change enjoyed by all the family.
Encouraging as much natural light into the space was integral as the back of the property was previously very dark. The Tiled Orangery extension design incorporated full height glazing across the project and a feature lantern encouraging further natural light from above into the centre of the room. During the summer months the bi-fold doors can be opened out onto the decking and into the garden, the perfect entertaining space.
“Each beam was carried in through the front door!”
With no rear access our clients contacted us to see if the extension they were hoping for would even be possible. Our team worked throughout the design and manufacturing of the frame to ensure the building could be easily transported through the client’s home with minimal disruption. The additional quality control measure of each building being pre-assembled in our workshops ahead of installation meant that the project was a complete success – the beauty of bespoke!
